Tiny Toons was filled with references only the parents would recognize, probably just for the show makers to amuse themselves. I just saw Zootopia 2 last night and it had a visual homage to The Shining that none of the kids are going to get.

The only thing that would make this even better is including a nice headshot of each team member (or artistic renderings of most of the team are shy about that).

They really lovingly captured the look that the era of DS games like Hotel Dusk and Ace Attorney had (the pre-rendered backgrounds are a highlight for sure), but there's also references to The Portopia Serial Murder Case in here. They know ball.

It only happens in one cartoon, and I showed it in my vid. I figure Miyamoto likely saw it and it stuck with him.

But now you have me wondering if the subtle way I included it in my vid made it seem like it happened a lot instead of being a rare occurrence.

This is where I opine about a store in the local mall that sold the greatest softest Parmesan pretzels ever, and then the chain closed or something and was replaced the a vastly inferior pretzel store that sold tasteless cardboard, and I can still almost taste the original, if only I could have one

If I had my way, every paragraph of any thing I write would be a single sentence that includes (at least) two em dashes.
