Totally agree. Feel lucky to live where I do where most of my neighbors are not assholes and we look out for each other. We're far from services - gas, grocery, medical. We're our own first responders. It's not for everyone but it works for us.

This is now a regular occurance. At the Nov Shandon Advisory mtg, CHP said truck drivers were "blaming" their GPS on the instruction to turn around. As if truck drivers just decided to turn around - regularly. I hope, at this point, CHP is reaching out to the GPS.

Honestly, I don’t care. the wine industry has ruined more acres of wildlife habitat and trees. Rich people growing alcohol for other rich people, tear them down to the ground.

Probably this falls in the checks/balances bucket but the lack of media scrutiny assists in the corruption. So much happens in my community that isn't covered and residents can't get actual answers about. And social media doesn't count.
