I've heard the argument "well painters hated photography when it was invented, new technology always causes a moral panic"
Did photographers force cameras into people's homes and jobs? Did cameras destroy the planet and spout hate at people? Did they cause psychosis and spread misinformation?

Especially as it is NOT intelligent. It is not "AI" as I would think of it in a scifi sense. Its not Murderbot from Martha Wells, it's not Lovelace or Mosscap from Becky Chambers.

Especially as it is NOT intelligent. It is not "AI" as I would think of it in a scifi sense. Its not Murderbot from Martha Wells, it's not Lovelace or Mosscap from Becky Chambers.

Must clarify, this is not my cat. This is a neighbourhood sweetheart who meows for affection whenever I see him. He is definitely someone's pet, this isn't the cat distribution system at work sadly.
