Definitely not. A soup is stock based. It’s a stew, which is usually protein based.

Exactly.

You think Israel was what suppressed voter turnout? She got the second highest number of votes by any Democratic nominee for president. It may be unstable but Americans WANT to side with Israel.
November 18, 2024 at 3:11 AM
Yes, all the subtle behind the back stuff that democrats are famous for. Not publicly taking issue with a specific policy after replacing him as the nominee. The press would fade a FIELD day. And yeah, it’s popular - 57% approval.
November 18, 2024 at 3:10 AM
What are you talking about? Democrats are FAMOUS for in fighting. It’s in their DNA. And yes, losing by around 100,000 votes across 6 states is a close election. Do you actually follow US politics at all?
November 18, 2024 at 3:07 AM
Hardly! Opposing the presidents position on Israel - which is fairly popular btw - is not the same as saying climate change is real in 1998. Distancing and publicly humiliating the president are two vastly different things.

For a start, conditional aid.
November 18, 2024 at 3:04 AM
Yeah, it was pretty freaking amazing she came so close given the odds. Assuming you u deterrent the American electoral process of course.
November 18, 2024 at 3:03 AM
Er, yeah. Of course he would have - or at least there was a significant risk he would have. His party filled him for her. VPs do not contradict presidents. Not ever.
November 18, 2024 at 3:03 AM
Of course she wasn’t. Democrats infighting would have destroyed her campaign. Seems her instincts weren’t far off given she had 107 days to create a 2y campaign coming from an unpopular administration with backlash against incumbents internationally at play - and she only just lost by a whisker.
November 18, 2024 at 3:02 AM
No one in the US will. But there was a chance she’d end the killing.
November 18, 2024 at 2:58 AM
If she publicly opposed her presidents policy? Are you kidding?
November 18, 2024 at 2:57 AM
Yes, by letting Netanyahu do ‘whatever it takes’ in murdering 2 million people and annexing the West Bank. See the difference?
November 18, 2024 at 2:56 AM
She committed to ending the war. She said Palestinians have a right to live as Palestinians. Trump publicly said the opposite.
November 18, 2024 at 2:51 AM
Yes, and? How does that change the fact she’s promised to end it?
November 18, 2024 at 2:50 AM
That’s an incredibly naive statement. She had 100 days to run a 2 year campaign that had to be focussed on the economy. Yes, Biden criticising her policy on Israel publicly would have been a disaster. Of. Purse it would have. There was never an opportunity to publicly oppose his policy explicitly.
November 18, 2024 at 2:50 AM
That change of tone happened while Biden was president.
November 18, 2024 at 2:48 AM
No, she said several times she was committed to finding a way to end the war.
November 18, 2024 at 2:47 AM
Again, I’m not saying Biden was good. But Harris isn’t Biden and Trump will be much worse.
November 18, 2024 at 2:47 AM
Again - you do not know that. She said she’d end the war. Trump says he’ll murder as many Palestinians as possible.
November 18, 2024 at 2:35 AM
You have no idea if that’s true. She said she would offer something different. We’ll never know now but we certainly know what Trump will do.
November 18, 2024 at 2:34 AM
During his presidency? Of course she was! 100% beholden because HE’S the president.
November 18, 2024 at 2:33 AM
Right. Joe Biden who is NOT Kamala Harris.
