Like overturning Roe wouldn't happen, or electing a felon wouldn't happen, or *gestures broadly* I understand the comfort offered by thinking Republicans will respect norms and laws but it's certainly not a given. It's really hard to know where we are on the sliding scale of catastrophe right now.
