Just finished this book from Coffee House Press and it was superb. It switches science fiction sub-genres a couple of times and it's really moving.

#nokings souvenirs from Casper, WY event this morning. We had a good 500 people in the park with flags and signs. Lots of supportive honks from passing cars; only three drivers flipped us off and one lady told us to go to California but overall, Casper likes being king-free.

In cheerier news, my sister took our dogs to the river this morning and they are tuckered all the way out. The mini Aussie, currently in full "raptor phase" isn't even harassing me to throw the ball for him (which is good because I'm sick with a fucking spring cold.
