It does 😭😭😭 the MCs are siblings and they have a fantastic dynamic, they are super close. And to some people, that sounds impossible. Like wdym two siblings are enjoying a movie together are the cinema? That can be, it must be a romantic date (I swear I’ve seen this argument on twitter)

This argument is so old... the shippers discredit diaspora Chinese folks when they say that sworn brothers can be used in a familial context because "they are no longer immersed in the culture". They also discredit mainland CN shippers who say "yep, it’s incest, I ship it anyway". It's exhausting
