My only bone to pick is that the focus is all on republicans while democrats largely sat by and at most wagged their finger, and at worst fed into the right wing complacency as they ultimately share the same corporate ownership. We seriously need new leadership throughout.

Also, our sides aren’t exactly equally matched. Maga is disproportionately obsessed with guns, violence, war, and actually wants to hurt us. My side includes many of the disabled, the academics, the pacifists, who feel little blood lust towards the other side and just wants them to wake tf up.

But that was in foreign land where there likely aren’t cameras on damn near every corner and bloated violent police forces bolstering the numbers. Also, though there are 3-4 times as many guns as people here, only like 40% of citizens own one, and it’s disproportionately the Maga flavored. 1/2…

We will not win against the US military, with personal guns. Either enough of the actual military breaks orders and fights for us, or we’re toast.

I wouldn’t call his exploitation of his pawns, love. He’s just so hostile to any who don’t worship him, that the lack of hostility is a stark contrast. He’s still disdainful of most of his supporters.

The Catholic Church is responsible for untold harm and death. It sits upon boundless stolen wealth. It stood beside Hitler, and ended the lives of upwards of 50k “witches”. It played a hand in the great plague, and sold forgiveness. It protected child abusers. It’s never had ANY moral authority.

I’m still having friends over because it’s an excuse to get people together and my fourth has never been RA-RA America. We will bbq, enjoy each others company, and that’s it.

I realize they are cousins and have both been there for thousands of years. It’s part of why I find the entire situation so freaking frustrating and part of why I am sick of the walls built by religious tribalism, preventing humans from reaching our full potential of peaceful collaboration.

I actually care very much, thanks. I’m sick of our world being torn apart largely by being the endless warring of the abrahamic faiths. Jewish people are not all religious, but Zionism is absolutely founded in it.
