Get involved with your state party and your county Democratic Central Committee. If your county is so red there isn't one start one yourself. (It has to be chartered by the state party.)

Splitting lefty votes will only ensure that Reeps stay in control. Work on getting rid of the Senators who caved or don't support your goals/values. Get involved with your local Central Committee.
