Second, the woman next to me was a CNA who dislocated her finger at work. They offered her pain medication; she said no, she wanted to go back to work. They did X-rays and told her she couldn't go back to work until she was cleared by an ortho. She burst into tears. Welcome to end stage capitalism

I went back to the ER today to get my stitches removed. Two things. First, these scissors are single use only. Every time they crack open a pair, they throw them out. The package states as much. It's no wonder healthcare is so frigging expensive... I find this outrageous

Today we have the first semblance of resistance from our elected officials... I stand with Cory Booker.

The last day I had off work was February 21. In all those days, there was only one I didn't do overtime. I should be well prepared for the gulag.

I have never been more ashamed to be an American than I am today. When I watched the clip, I could physically feel my shame and embarrassment. What the hell were Dump and Jed thinking? Oh yeah, petty nothing men trying to cut a true hero down. Their BS condemns us all. #standwithukraine

ICYMI: Total blackout today. Buy nothing. This is being covered by national news organizations, including the AP.

Officers at 40 NYS correctional facilities have gone on strike, getting very little coverage. I don't understand why. At my facility 200/240 CO's walked out. How bad does it have to be for that to happen? I support the strike, & am on my 8th straight day of work to ensure our IIs are taken care of.

February 4, 2019 (six years ago), I met Greg. February 5, 1999 (twenty-six years ago), I met Mike. Almost exactly 20 years apart to the day, the two men who would become my husband found me and I found them... Absolutely amazing to me... Early February is a great time for me ❤️

Say their names:

Akash Bobba, Edward Coristine, Luke Farritor, Gautier Cole Killian, Gavin Kliger, and Ethan Shaotran.

These are the young men who did the dirty work Felon 47 and Elon couldn't, breaking to the Treasury Dept. and stealing our information.

And no one is doing anything about it.

This is my favorite book of all time. I have read it every year for 18 years. I take comfort in the familiar characters, the plot points, the humor, and even the sadness. But this year, for the first time ever, I couldn't finish... I just needed to stop while everything was still ok.

I've decided to do a few mini episodes solo, and this is the first. It will allow me to do more of a deep dive behind the headlines and figure out what importance we should give politicians and their stunts. In this episode, I look at the 19 AGs who asked Costco to end their DEI program.

A friend in SoDak found an 18 pack of eggs for $19 today. My sister bought a dozen for $13 in Virginia on Friday. Ours only went up 52 cents to $4.67. Loving these lower prices. You can see how the executive orders are really making a difference in our everyday lives.

Remember on the campaign trail when the Felon in Chief said he was going to protect women so hard? Did that include putting a drunk womanizer (or is that womanizing drunkard?) at the head of the Dept of Defense?

Greg and I have started a new podcast called Flustercuck, which is available on Spotify and Amazon. Usually it's the two of us swearing and yelling at our outrage, but tonight we are just sad and depressed and wanted to share those feelings too... Prob won't run out of material these next 4 years.

Uninstalled Facebook and Instagram from my phone this morning... Keeping the accounts so I have my memories, but prefer my social media without a side of oligarghy
