With reference to Labor's super tax.
"This is so sinister, and I want to walk everybody through why it’s so sinister because we’re starting to see a lot of pushback in the media now,” Mr Morrow (Sky) said.
The RW media that every election since 2022 has failed to influence voters. 🤣🤣

I think that Littleproud has taken this position because his party is a party for the high viz workers and the fossil fuels. The Nationals sadly no longer represent the farmers. If fact they haven't for some time. The second reason is for his own political aspirations.

Sussan Ley said that she would release her shadow cabinet "in due course "!
Please tell me that we're not going down that road again 🤪🤣🤣

Husic and Dreyfus reactions to being "dumped " is I think rather disappointing. When you belong to a party you campaign for that party to win. Not for your own political ambition of a cabinet position. Not every candidate can be picked. This time it was Husic and Dreyfus who missed out.

"When Dutton became leader, most supporters knew deep down he simply wasn’t electable. They knew it,” Carswell (former chief advisor to Morrison)said. ..there’s even guilt among some in the Liberal Party for backing Dutton."
So much for the so called character assassination by Labor!

"What we need to do is, not pay attention to ourselves, we need to go and start talking to the Australian people and ask them what it is that they are looking for,” Mr Falinski said. Has the penny dropped?

On QandA Bridget McKenzie said that their nuclear policy is still alive because the electorates where they plan to build these plants voted for the Nationals. She believes that delivered her party a mandate. McKenzie ignores the rest of Australian voters who clearly voted NO to nuclear.

Sources have confirmed a deal between shadow treasurer Angus Taylor and shadow finance minister Jane Hume—both seen as architects or key backers of the return-to-office proposal.

Mr Taylor has been eyeing the Liberal leadership while Ms Hume would become Senate leader on that ticket. Sky

LNP blame the Trump factor. It was more about their emulating Trump policies that voters didn't like. DOGE, work from home, sack public servants, woke school curriculum, anti immigrants, racism, division MAGA slogan (Price) Dutton the strong Tariff negotiator, climate change denial.

This sums up the future.
Former Labor minister Graham Richardson, who hasn’t lost his talent for the one-liner, said the Liberals have got to ask themselves where do we go now?
“We’ve tried Dutton - what else have we got? Well not much because if Angus Taylor is the answer, it’s a stupid question.”

Morrison surprised voters when he pulled of the 2019 election even though the polls had Labor winning. However Morrison consistently outpolled Shorten on preferred PM (10 points). On preferred PM now, Albo has been consistently ahead by about 10 points too. Interesting.

Littleproud has insisted there is strong support for nuclear. He said internal polling indicates about two-thirds of people living in the seven seats earmarked for zero-emissions nuclear power plants back the move.
Well David why don't you share this polling???

2/Ms France sits on a primary vote of 37.1 per cent - a swing of 5.4 per cent towards Labor since 2022, while Mr Dutton’s primary vote is 35.1 per cent - 7 per cent down on his previous election result.

1/The exit poll of 200 early voters conducted by The Courier Mail on Thursday reveled the Opposition leader is in a battle for Dickson with Labor’s Ali France.

When voters were asked the most important reasons to oppose a candidate, those polled indicated Donald Trump as their biggest influence.(Sky) So why do commentators think that ON's preferences will get the LNP over the line? Hanson supports Trump. Why is her vote increasing?

2/I always used to say, marriage equality, which took us such a bloody fight to get that done – and I thought, all this fuss – it’ll become something, it’ll be like, people go ‘did we even have an argument about.

1/ Dutton has accused Labor of pushing a “secret plan to legislate the Voice” after a senior Labor minister revealed the controversial plan was inevitable.
I think we’ll look back on it in 10 years’ time and it’ll be a bit like marriage equality,” Wong said.

Annabelle Crabb's take on Dutton's campaign.
"One thing goes wrong, and that thing exacerbates an existing weakness, and in rushing to fix that, you create another problem and before you know it, you're sitting down to the full English breakfast at the Clusterf**k Café."

What's with the ABC running the Annabelle Crab Kitchen Cabinet showcasing Dutton? Just saw it advertised for 9:20 tonight. 😝

Ken Wyatt appeared on breakfast RN. Sally began with welcome back to RN breakfast. Ken's response was awesome. He drew parallels with Welcome to country and her welcome back to RN breakfast. When we visit someone they welcome us to their home/place. W to C is just that.

Friday Dutton says we have a strong indigenous culture and we should respect it. Today he's ramping up the cultural wars and says people are getting tired of Welcome to country. He wants QANTAS to stop W to C when landing. Unbelievable for a man who wants to be our future PM.
