Holy shit. I'm not a lawyer, but these two "missteps" appear to be beyond "oops" and more like "prosecutorial misconduct." Failing to inform the jury of Comey's 5th Amendment rights and implying that there was more evidence that was really bad for Comey that would come out at trial. Wink, wink.

I think he just hates Jim Comey in general. Trump hates people that intrude on his fantasy that he’s the only person in the universe who matters. And yes, he is obsessed with revenge for imaginary grievance.

Which is ironic, bc Trump probably wouldn’t have won in 2015 without Comey’s help.

Lindsey Halligan’s law license is in serious jeopardy, looking to join a long list of disbarred and disciplined Trump attorneys.

So…my guess is that the grand jury appeared ready to return a no bill on all three charges, and this was Halligan’s way of trying to head that off.
