A NSW Police investigation & a NSW SafeWork investigation are being conducted into Australia’s Married at First Sight following a ‘wall punch’ incident.

Victorian Parliament has released its final report from the Inquiry into capturing data on people using family violence in Victoria.

Without better data, we cannot design the interventions & systems needed to stop the use of violence.

During the WEF Annual Meeting in Davos, Argentinian President Javier Milei announced his intention to remove femicide from the penal code. Milei dismissed femicide laws as a product of “woke” culture.

This announcement is deeply concerning.

🌏 The Global Gender Gap Report estimates it will take 134 yrs to achieve gender parity. We are moving further away from equality.

I am speaking on a panel later today about the WEF’s Global Gender Gap Report & the barriers we must tackle to ensure justice & to accelerate progress on gender equality.

Parity is still 134 years away.
Global action is urgently needed.
