Being a newby, and believing that the only dumb question is the one that isn't asked...is there a way to primarily follow my friends, or to create a group of friends to chat, instead of randomly seeing all kinds of stuff, some of which is nauseating or repulsive?

I'm just getting started on bluesky. One thing I noticed is that I can only scroll to half a dozen posts, and then it just freezes. Is this normal?
