Fast Five (2011)
My first experience with the Fast and Furious franchise had a lot less racing then I thought, but the sequences that were there were real impressive. The result is an entertaining heist with more down time with the characters then I expected. Which is a plus!

The Green Mile (1999)
Astounding performances here to compensate for the fact that the script is kind of shallow. It's trying to bring sympathy to an inhumane setting, but I feel like it lacked the true connections to make the whole thing hit home. Not worth the 3 hours for me.

Robot Dreams (2023)
This movie is deceptively adorable. I really admire that there's no dialogue and that it has the simple yet mesmerizing imagery to help tell it's story, but I was way more emotional and depressed by the end then I expected. A memorable watch for sure

Lupin III: The Castle of Cagliostro (1979)
It's easy to get swept away in the swashbuckling adventure! Lupin in a much more endearing protagonist than I expected with a great supporting cast, the animation is sensational, and the eccentric adventurous spirit is all so much fun!

Fantastic Four First Steps (2025)
Feels very traditional in a sense. The retro look to this futuristic setting, the smaller conflict with world ending consequences, grand unity from a simple sentimental source. It's not amazing, but it works. The movie the Fantastic Four deserve!

Battle of the Super Sons (2022)
The animation takes some getting used to and the plot is fine but nothing special; but the real stand out for me is the leads. I love Jon and Damian's dynamic and appreciate that their stubbornness doesn't keep them from being proactive heroes.

Paddington in Peru (2025)
What do you expect me to say? It's Paddington! Of course it's the delightful package of fun, wit, eccentric comical adventure wrapped in heartfelt warmth that the other movies are. I need people citing this as a trilogy that remained good all throughout!

The Firm (1993)
I'm admittedly not a John Grisham or Tom Cruise fan, but while the first half of this movie wasn't anything too special and I thought I knew where it was going, the second half turns into a pretty suspenseful heist of sorts. Worth it by the end for sure.

Thunderbolts* (2025)
Yeah. Everyone was right. That was great! While some characters get more dedication then others, the movie takes what could have been an overly complicated plot, and makes it concise, easy to follow, with plenty of room to present dark themes and a surprisingly uplifting message

Finally put the Fenton and Gizmoduck figures in the place where they belong 🥰

The Apprentice (2024)
The cast did a great job, but it's a pretty depressing watch. While you should take anything "based on a true story" with a grain of salt, watching this is like watching the disturbing web of how we got to where we the U.S. is today unfurl.

The Conclave (2024)
The peculiar timing of telling this story notwithstanding, I enjoyed this much more then I thought I would! Instead of being pompous or self important, it feels like the struggles of real people trying to live up to a role bigger then all of them. Beautiful.

Sorry it took so long to get it framed Dredge but don’t worry. Shadow has been admiring it ever since

A while back @dredgeth.bsky.social offered me a deal on one of their prints. Being a big fan of their artwork I couldn’t resist! This Sonic Adventure 2 art is stunning and looks amazing in my room! I promised Dredge I’d share some pics when I hung it on the wall so here it is!
Thanks again.

You vs. the Gizmo guy she tells you not to worry about #DuckTales

Quite the upgrade from the handmade Gizmoduck I made out of desperation 6 years ago 😅

I am speechless. I managed to get ahold of the unreleased Gizmoduck action figure and it is incredible!! It’s beautifully made and represents my favorite Ducktales character perfectly. Having both pieces together feels so good 😊

How To Train Your Dragon (2010)
I totally get why this took off! It's a simple story in a small setting, but feels so grand. Stand out artistry in every area of the production, a robust cast of characters, and a fleshed out community that had franchise potential from the start.

I am so thrilled they made a Funko line for Owl House, and of course the first one I had to pick up was my favorite, King.

This is perfect! They did an amazing job with him 🥰

Captain America Brave New World (2025)
Yeah I don't really get what the problem is here. Sure it's not amazing and the themes could stand to be more complex, but it's an interesting way to have several threats in the MCU be tackled at once, and a great showcase of why Sam is such a good Cap!

Of course the first Freddy Funko I add to my collection is Frankenstein themed.
That just feels right.
