A big week beckons so how better to prepare than a spot of gardening? The dahlias I overwintered with mulch are appearing, the fuschias are in full bloom, the love-in-a-puff I grew from seed are starting to flower, and the dwarf roses are having a second wind.

Working today and gardening in breaks. The garden is coming on great guns, thanks in part to all the stuff I’d given up for dead, which is now growing, and the random eruptions such as this self-seeded foxglove.
