This was definitely me as a little girl. If anyone tried to talk to me I thought I could make them go away by just covering my eyes or hiding behind my mom.

Thank you, Studio Montclair, for including my photo in "Strength and Resilience," an exhibition commemorating African American and Women’s History Months.

I was happy to have this image included in "Dwelling in Hope," Studio Montclair's first photography-only exhibition. I took it in the Alonzo F. Bonsal Wildlife Preserve, a secret treasure behind the backyards of NJ homes. A fellow photog told me it reminded her of Ophelia, which I had to google.
