I’m taking a 3 day class on long arm quilting this week and it’s going so well! Since it’s my first time, we’re just doing edge to edge quilting, nothing custom yet. But I think I’ll stick with this and take more classes to get into the more advanced stuff someday.

Me, watching The Gorge (a fairly forgettable but still fun romp of a sci-fi action thriller on Apple TV):

Week 10 of Administration Therapy.
I’m calling it “Little Bandit”.
This project continues to bring me so much joy in dark times. I’m still catching up on the journaling portion because that’s quite a bit less joyful, but important.

This will 100% be my favorite detail of this quilt… I used free-motion quilting to make the yarn ball look like a wound up yarn ball.

I’m going fabric shopping with the recipient on Friday so I can’t wait to surprise him with it. We’ve been friends for 20 years and have gone through so much together.
I hate wrapping things… so I rolled it up label side out and put a bow on it… 🤣
