Will you have more character/skin options in Grime 2? I love the art and the world and visual character customization feels like a natural addition :)

There are still options, but then you still have to do the court thing, an exhausting experience by most counts. So, do you start a months/years long battle against an indefatigable opponent wherein you risk bankruptcy and your mental health, or do you take down the patch?

They might, they might not. But if he doesn't comply, they threaten court. The cost of hiring a lawyer can be prohibitive for a layperson, so Sony would simply wait until MFD dried up. That's a lot of money to spend on Sony's side, but they don't have to do it. The threat alone is usually enough.

The two androids are definitely the scariest part of the film though. The half-torn one talking about needing to change humanity has *implications* and Andy's changes back and forth are frightening on their own terms. That was my favorite part of the whole thing.
