We also don't have Easter egg hunt in our tradition. Instead we have something called "lany poniedziałek" (wet monday?), folk tradition when you supose to sprinkle each other with water a little, but teens are usually turning it into full scale water war, even throwing buckets of water on pple.

For me it's Easter. I am atheist, but I like Polish traditions around xmas and it's more like family event for me. Easter on the other hand just seems useless. It moves around, so I am always suprised by it and it's not so elaborate foodwise.

It depends how you define "where". My mum generally knows in which city I am, but it doesn't work the other way. Once I called just to found out that she is on her way to diffrent country with intention to stay there few weeks (I had chat with her 2 days prior, when she didn't mention a thing :D)

What you mean by that? There are compulsory language lessons (usually English, German or French, depended on the school, level of education), but in general other subject are taught in Polish.

It seems that they didn't really give it a chance and put enough effort to prepare teachers. Hundreds of milions kids around the world learn in diffrent languages than English and they do just fine, so it's not like English is some superior language in education.

And she is lying, there were stories about girls as young as 12 in this case and 12 is as far as I know "under 14" (but not under 10, so maybe it is still not meeting Megan's disgusting threshold)

Morality aside for a moment, I am pretty sure "barely legal" term is about girls that are young, but passed the consent age. Google telling me the lowest consent age in US is 16, so dude being into 15 year old is the into "barely legal" type, he is into statututory rape.

Trochę rozczarowanie, bo głównie zapożyczenia z angielskiego. Zapas polskiego slangu młodzieżowego sprzed 20 lat sie wyczerpał, czy co :(?

Swoją drogą, ktoś wie za ile Polska kupiła te korespondencję, o ktorej mowa w artykule? Widzę, że jednak chciwość w Watykanie przeważyła ponad instynktem samozachowczym (aka nie oddawaniem w inne ręce dowodów, że najwyższy urzędnik kościoła wiedział o popełnianych przeciwko dzieciom zbrodniach).

Hmm, utopian dictatorship? Risky idea, but I am curious to see, if you can sell it :>. Btw. Nazi heavly "borrow" their symbols too, sometimes from suprising sources. There is great book about this "Diccionario crítico de mitos y símbolos del nazismo" by Rosa Sala Rose
