I was blown away on my last (recent) rewatch.
My 14YO has just started watching. I think she was horrified by pretty much everyone from the first episode, and now she can't stop.

Not a historian, but could happily have been one. I loved the Laura Ingalls Wilder books as a child, as I was fascinated by how they lived. I was quite curious about where the toilet was because, despite several detailed descriptions of the various houses they lived in, this was never explained!
