In case you missed it, NOAA's messaging changed today from protecting our oceans and atmosphere to "the next gold rush" strip mining the ocean's sea beds of any minerals.

These people care only about money and will destroy the earth to get it.

I still support Ukraine as it defends itself against Russia’s brutal aggression against their country, which began three years ago. Putin is a war criminal who wants to control the world. Ukrainians are free and should remain so.

Yes, she’s one year old now, but still a puppy. I got her in April, six months after Aisling died. I found Fiona while searching for poodles on Petfinder. 10 pounds. 30% Chihuahua, 28% poodle and about 8 other breeds. Rescued from south Texas streets with her mom and litter mates.

I strongly recommend watching Conclave. I guarantee you it will keep you engaged in a great story until the very end. It will also distract you from other things today.

This is the Ann Telnaes editorial cartoon that the Post refused to print, so she quit. She’s a tremendous talent whose work I will miss. This work was spot-on accurate for this moment in time.

It has been horrifying to watch owners of some of the few great papers left capitulate to autocracy.

It’s Sunday morning, and I have a rare treat: Morning ears from my puppy, who turned 1 this month. Those ears are up 99% of the time I see them. Sometimes, when she first wakes up, they are down. I got a couple shots of her morning ears this morning.

My puppy Fiona, adopted this spring, six months after my last dog died. I was trying to get an action shot of her playing fetch, but she came over to see what was up.
