@lawrenceodonnell.bsky.social love MSNOW/your show, but please stop with the same 3 stories hour after hour. There’s a world of news out there no one on the network is covering. Don’t need 4 hours on the same 3 stories. Flipping to BBC, PBS & Democracy Now lately.

Maybe putting a dozen narcissistic poser Fox hosts in charge of sprawling federal agencies with millions of combined employees and vastly important responsibilities with enormous power wasn’t the greatest plan.

This is deliberate obfuscation.
Today, after months of requests, I toured the Broadview ICE Processing Facility. I want to share what I saw.

The facility has no food vendor, no medical care, and detainees have to use toilets in the middle of shared cells. These are in no way suitable conditions to be holding anyone — period.

He’s going to kill people for oil.

Schumer may have voted no but people are tired of the DC dance.

✅ The 8 senators admit they kept him in the loop
✅ The 8 senators that voted yes are not up for reelection
✅ His No. 2 voted yes

We need a new politics with new faces for working people.

@rokhanna.bsky.social you said on Chris Hayes tonight that swearing in Grijalva would “begin a process” to get the discharge petition up for a vote & you were aiming for December 3. The Tennessee special election is on December 2 in +20R district. You need that discharge vote NOW.

@kaine.senate.gov What was the point of holding out for over 40 days only to cave without getting anything? You threw away your leverage after a blue tsunami on Tuesday as if you weren’t actually fighting for something important. Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory once again.

Why isn’t this top of the news?
After $400 million flowed into the campaign coffers, Congress is set to pass the GENIUS Act—which among its many troubling provisions—requires banks to make stablecoin investors whole before regulator depositors. Additionally, stablecoin issuers don't have to pay into FDIC insurance.

This is highly disturbing.
The Genius Act puts oversight of stablecoins with the US Treasury, controlled by Trump.

The Clarity Act gives regulatory authority to the CFTC instead of the highly regulated SEC.

The CBDC Act gives private companies the complete authority to build and mature the stablecoin market.

Again, it is a full-blown federal felony crime for anyone in the White House or Executive Office of the President to order tax investigations into anyone.

And it's not just a crime to DO it, it's even a federal crime for an employee not to REPORT such an order to the Treasury Inspector General.
