Went to the Art Shanties last weekend. It was good to be out in community and create and laugh and dance. This is what we fight for.

A trail wrapped around the house and crossed in front of the door before following the landscaping edging. At first I thought mouse, but are they too big?

The first Christmas my husband and I lived together (almost twenty years ago!) I suggested we get this light-up, animatronic penguin instead of a tree. He’s growing thin in spots, we’ve had to repair his mechanics, and now the lights need some work, but I still love him and this weird tradition.

Last week was the first time I saw a big ship on this part of the lake. I’m not sure how unusual it is, but I was excited!

It finally happened to me: I got six bunches of bananas instead of the six singular bananas I ordered. $1.50 for 34 bananas.

Attended my first bonspiel today! Saw the second draw of the morning of the Frogtown Five Spiel and froze my butt off, but it was fun!
