I actually grew up with Virtua Fighter so I’m pretty interested in how this goes. I know it’s a rerelease and all but it’s a small slice of childhood for me… maybe if it does well we’ll get a VF6 👀

The only games I'd say are actually hard to find matches without a discord are SamSho, DNF Duel, and DOA6. KI has crossplay with the PC gamepass players and Xbox players so it's not that bad even with 38 players on steam.

200 concurrent players is perfectly playable without joining a discord server. I'd even say UNI2 which hits under 200 was very much playable when I got it. I just started running ranked matches and found matches pretty fast as a new player. No issues finding matches on BBCF too

I think the FGC needs to take a step back and look at the numbers and really think.
If having 1000+ players is a requirement for you to play a game then your only options will ever be Street Fighter, Tekken, Mortal Kombat and Strive

Decided it would be best for my Chun-Li growth to get off Modern Controls and stop using the Auto Combos.
Just to see what's possible with her I checked out the trials and gotta say I really like how Chun-Li flows
I really like using the stance in the combos it feels nice.
