To be clear, this has nothing to do with protecting women, it is everything about scapegoating trans people, and distracting from the real issues which basically involves billionaires stealing from us all. We need to be united if we are going to beat these people.

Or people could just do what has worked all along and mind their own business. I certainly would have a hard time using a urinal given the surgeries I’ve had lol but I don’t think any trans woman would feel comfortable using one.

And murder rates are on the rise. A couple weeks ago I attended the Trans Day of Remembrance, a memorial of the 300+ people killed just this year by hate-motivated violence. Bathroom bills make no one safer. Cis women will not be safer either but some will be accused of being trans. Not the answer.

I want you to say those words out loud right to yourself right now. Think about it for a minute. Think about the long history of SEGREGATION between black and white people, after slavery was abolished. Think about the lynchings, the murders, the Jim Crow laws… Then please reevaluate your statement.
