Heating and cooling buildings requires a lot of energy.

Around half of all the energy we consume in the EU goes towards it — and most of that is still from polluting fossil fuels 😷

The EU has all it needs to change this. How? 🧵👇

What do we mean when we talk about #circulareconomy?

🤫 Spoiler alert: it's not about recycling!

Have a read and tell us what you think 👇

[1/2] If the entire population lived like the average EU citizen, we would need 2.8 planet Earths ‼️

🗺️ But there is another way.

A well-designed #CircularEconomy can move the market from an extractive economic model towards an approach that allows us to stay within the Earth’s carrying capacity.

Some opportunities, few guarantees.

Our reaction to the #CleanIndustrialDeal: ecostandard.org/news_events/...

For the EU to stay competitive in the long-term, and be a clean industrial leader, the wellbeing of people and planet must be woven into every aspect of how this strategy is implemented.

🌳 Is it #greenwashing or is this love really true?

Trust is essential in any relationship.

Building trust between companies and consumers through transparent and honest communication should be the norm.

💘 A strong #GreenClaimsDirective could offer that.
