Dont feel silly! Ive gone to a couple galas and outfits are always a concern for folks - but yeah if its formal it might need a more traditional choice but id still go for something that makes you feel awesome that night (the white one is not too bridal in my opinion)

But the nature of the event means you can wear something thats a bit unique and because its for charity, nobody should be critiquing too harshly.
Hit up that medieval dress, one that is comfortable and makes you feel awesome and as long as youre having a good time, all is accomplished!

Nice event but not formal, proceeds to charity...go for option 3 of 'find another'
I vote this because it sounds like you dont love the first two for various reasons, which is fine!
