Why do people act like it’s nothing?? The flu sucks. I’m very healthy and every time I’ve gotten it (thankfully not often), I feel like I’ve been hit by a truck. And I get vaccinated too.

It makes me think of the comment Brad Wilcox (UVA) made about the naturally violent Scots Irish Appalachian men being the reason that people associate domestic violence with Christianity. It’s so stupid.

The key is to write confidently about a topic which you have zero knowledge of and somehow weave it into a lesson on life that makes rich people feel better about themselves and the many ways they make the world worse with their actions.

I’ve realized two things in the past few years, one is that rich people are by and large, very very dumb and I need to find a very very dumb rich person to give me a lot of money.
