This is something new creatives in general do, in my experience, but trying to buck guidelines they don't fully understand first. I remember a professor in undergrad told me, "In order to think outside the box you have to know the box," and I 100% agree.

For me it depends on the reaction, but I get not wanting to be perceived at all.
