One Headlight vs The Way dropped when I was in a very dark place and helped bring me out of it. Maybe because I was considering a “the Way” ending at the time. I found out Niko was doing a book signing after and went there instead to thank her. Started rebuilding my life after.

I was in Mexico this year and caught a lucha show, where they billed the main eventer as Black Warrior from CMLL (who had died in 2023). He was really good though! I don’t know why they picked someone who both died and didn’t wear a mask, when they could have gone with any other gimmick.

I got in trouble listening to that one as a kid because of the line about Jenny being kind of a slut. Not one of his best moments, that’s for sure.

Ideally I'd watch that without subtitles the first time, and then with them a second time to understand it from the other language - and you could do that as an English or Japanese viewer, and get a totally different but equally valid experience.

The only real exception I can think of is "Hell in the Pacific", a cool 1960s John Boorman movie with Lee Marvin and Toshiro Mifune, where Boorman got separate Japanese and English screenwriters to separately do all the dialogue, because the language barrier was essential to the concept.
