Watching cars from the upper level of the double decker on the way home I was "WTH Ottawa!". And then walking home on my little crescent, reduced to driver slalom with snow banks and parked cars, I had a minivan drive right at me as it made room for a car headed the other direction.

Is the store downtown? Don't the downtown BIAs swear that downtown Ottawa cannot support life after the government workers go home for the day? That's why they must be forced back to the office full time, and probably forced to buy lunch from mediocre downtown eateries every day as well.

But then how could they park directly in front of the one store they go to? You know the single customer from the car in that one parking spot in front of a business is infinitely more important and valuable than the dozens who might walk, bike or take the bus to get there </heavy sarcasm>
