Yeah. I'm actually going to try a distro very soon. I just wish Nvidia support was better (one of the many). But I can play less demanding games there for now.

Absolutely. I think it makes no sense how, outside the genre categories, there’s nothing gameplay-specific in there. Like all the major categories are just straight up copied from the film industry.

It reminds me of when people complain a top 10 list is bad because it has the obvious games in it. If a game is so good it gets included in every list it should be excluded because arbitrary reasons? It makes no sense.

What E3 used to be. Now we have to suffer through an hour or more of basically ads (service games updates and shit). The awards and actual game announcements make up a very small portion of that show, unfortunately.

Every studio is outsourcing stuff though. It’s just not like the biggest AAA games are made entirely in-house.

This is my biggest problem with generative AI. From what I've seen, the people most supportive of it are people with zero talent, not only to create something but also to appreciate how good something is. They just make the most generic bland thing in the world and clap like it's amazing.
