Feds are particularly vulnerable to scammers right now. Take a look at the number of contacts vs the number of people they are following. If there is a huge spread, most of their contacts are bots.

You have control over who you accept as a contact and you can easily block someone. You have control, so accept and practice it. I'm guessing that LinkedIn is going to be your investment in your future.

I know Feds have historically been discouraged to be active on social media, so you have a huge learning curve to overcome in a very short period of time. Please take on this challenge and don't allow scammers to intimidate you.
