3/ I'm as guilty as anyone. I was at the grocery store two days ago and my cashier was a black woman. She was completely pleasant, if not overly chatty, and I tell you... I was so uncomfortable with the idea that she might think I voted red that the need to say "I voted for her" was FIGHTING...

1/ Along the same line as the blue bracelets...

I want the white folks to think about this...we are so uncomfortable thinking that black people might judge us as unsafe and untrustworthy SOLELY based on the color of our skin that many wanted to wave some sort of signal that says "I'm okay."
