I like it too and this will sound silly but it looks like a room for people to wear robes and swords, and if we as a nation have decided that we're not even going to wear robes and swords at the presidential inauguration then we need a new room. (Also half the invited guests didn't fit)

Maybe you could do it in the Ambassador. Presidential inaugurations, addresses by visiting dignitaries, citizenship ceremonies. We inherited Áras, Oireachtas and Castle, we may as well have a go at The Spirit Of The Nation Through Architecture at least once before civilisational collapse.
