Come on jury, it can be not guilty day. Let's end this Karen Read prosecution disaster.

I'm so curious what the jury will say, if they comment, on Brennan's questioning and demeanor after the Karen Read trial is over. His cross of Dr Rentschler was bizarre.

The prosecution in the Karen Read case seems to be making headway that there might be many possibilities as to how OJO might have died. Maybe some day we'll find out.

Looks like Kelly Dever was watching the Karen Read trial and said “Hold my Beer” to Dr Welcher when she took the stand.

Compare the demeanor between DiSogra and Welcher on cross exam in the Read trial. DiSogra is so much more credible. I hope the jury sees what's going on here.

The US health insurance system in a nutshell; the negotiated rate is less than 7%, yes SEVEN percent of the billing rate. I'm not complaining about the amount to pay but the whole pricing structure is absolutely bonkers.

Judson Welcher has to be the most insufferable witness in the Karen Read case. He might even top Yuri B.

My Apple journal suggestion is “”Afternoon Outing to McDonald’s” and I’m not sure how I feel about that.

I have a feeling that sending an email to create a registry of Jewish faculty at a university just seems like a......bad idea. Call me crazy.

A clear sign of organizational disfunction is when and IRS head is installed without the ok of the Secretary of Treasury. What a joke.

I have a bad feeling with this band of undirected buffoons the US will end up with a WORSE trade deal from an angry and emboldened China.
April 18, 2025 at 2:07 PM
If the US' share of Chinese exports is only 14% I don't think we have any leverage. What a clown show.
Why isn’t China picking up the phone? APOLLO suggests it’s because “the share of Chinese exports going to the US has declined from 20% to 14% since 2017.”

“In other words, more than 80% of exports from China end up in other places than the US.”

Tax cuts account for 38% of the national debt today, while recession responses and spending increases each caused 29%. And now the Republicans want to pass $5.3T more tax cuts. We can’t keep this up.

No mention on CNBC of the unusual options activity yesterday in the markets just prior to the US pause on tariffs and resulting rally....
April 10, 2025 at 1:22 PM
This front-running is exactly what I was worried about. Corrupt to the core.
Alright, I think people knew of the tariff pause and traded it beforehand.

You can see before Trump posted "buy" on Truth Social, traders opened $QQQ $TQQQ and $SPY calls

RIGHT BEFORE THE NEWS, someone opened $SPY 509 calls, expiring TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Those calls are up 2100% in one hour.

Analysts believe the US Fed Reserve may need to step in. : “Markets are pricing a growing probability of an emergency [interest rate] cut, just as we saw during the Covid turmoil and the height of the GFC [global financial crisis] in 2008.”
