This is the kind of thing I keep telling my friends. His plans are terrible, hurtful, and mean but they're also badly thought out. If we make them sue us, force them to go to the effort of enforcing rules, we can run out the clock. That's what he does in court all the time.

Dark Sun got some support in 4th edition, though I didn’t play it. Other than 4E it never got any republication past 2nd edition, sadly. Lots of novels, though!
