Would like to make America, America again and this isn’t it…
7 months ago I wondered if federal agents and our military felt wrong following some orders. Members of Congress made a statement on Thursday about illegal orders. I’ve never served but now I wonder if learning the Constitution is not apart of their training? It must be, right?

I realize it’s a different pot of money, but our government should seriously consider pausing ICE enforcement funding and instead pay our ATC’s and provide money for people to eat. We should probably stop shooting expensive missiles at supposed drug runners too for a brief period.

It’s rather embarrassing and disgusting for the government to accept donations from people and companies to circumvent Congressional oversight and funding to do things the president wants to do. This is literally shameless influence peddling. Very swamp-like IMHO.

www.cnn.com/2025/09/17/m... ABC is a bit gutless with this suspension considering what was actually said. Since when in the last 20 years has the FCC come out with threats? Heck Fox and Newsmax should have sanctions up the wazoo by now.

apnews.com/article/flor... There is a not-so-subtle difference between mandating something in your best interest and something to control. Science has repeatedly demonstrated how immunizations benefit the individual and the general public. Let’s debate the studies, not create free for all!

For an administration that is so by the book on immigration and claims of law and order, why is it defending itself so much in the courts and flaunting laws and procedures? They seem love paying lawyers.

Yes, military troops in the streets will deter crime, no argument. What happens when they leave? Solutions comes from the community which troops will not provide. The administration isn’t interested in solutions, just optics and demonstrations of power.

Has Donald ever been to a Cracker Barrel? What the heck does he care what their logo is?

Getting too involved in everyday public life like an authoritarian would. Soon he’ll tell us what church to go to, where to buy gas, what to eat. I bet it’ll all be named Trump-something.

Before Alice in Wonderland was a children’s story it was political satire about tyranny. “Off with their heads” screamed a displeased queen. Looks like the Colonies hasn’t strayed far from their ancient British parent. Don’t like the data? You’re fired. No matter, we respect you Erika McEntarfer.

The U.S., its agencies and labs were the envy of the world, relied upon for authoritative, timely, and accurate information. Imperfect but without equal. Indiscriminate cuts and poor judgement have destroyed value. This administration is walking away from our very hard-earned global leadership role.

What is impressive about today’s #nokings turnout is the variety of reasons for protest. Tyranny, healthcare, immigration, democracy, graft, due process, education, lies, rule of law, vindictiveness, incompetence. Impressive these have been combined all into one administration in under 6 months.

My understanding now is that a large violent mob invading the US Capitol and trying to hunt down members of Congress is not worthy of Federal action but protestors who are likely doing some property damage is, without the request of state and local government. Do I have that right?

Federal agents and military, I understand you’re following orders, but aren’t these orders starting to bug you yet? Don’t you feel like you’re doing something wrong yet? Lawyers of the DOJ are stepping aside and resisting political appointees, other branches need to do so as well.

In the 90’s I believed government should strive for efficiency. I liked the idea of a businessperson as President, e.g. Steve Forbes. This is wrong. Government officials must demonstrate empathy for the people they watch over. Efficiency cannot be ruthless and should err on the side of generosity.
