Iran joined the NPT (Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons Treaty) in 1970. Israel has never joined. Iran signed the JCPOA agreement between, China, France, Russia, UK, Germany and US in 2015 and conformed to all nuclear checks and restrictions, in return sanctions against Iran were lifted.
