Dark matter helps explain the observed rotation of galaxies, which deviates significantly from what we would expect based only on visible matter. Without dark matter, galaxies would not rotate the way they do, their outer stars would fly off, or orbit more slowly

Two galaxies are caught in a cosmic embrace—quite literally

The Seyfert galaxy NGC 1097 dominates the scene, while its smaller elliptical companion, NGC 1097A, appears in the upper right. Signs suggest that these two galaxies have interacted in the past

Howdy everyone. How are we all today? We have made it to Friday and for most of us it is the final day of the work week. I have the day off but I am working tomorrow! I have a training day tomorrow so that I can learn how a program works so that I can use it for my day to day work. The thing is I

Howdy everyone. How are we today? We are getting closer to the weekend and we rather like that don't we? Hahaha. It is sort of my last day of work for me, as tomorrow I am off but on Saturday I have a work course to go on. So it is definitely giving with one hand and taking with the other one. Haha.

Howdy everyone. We are half way through the week already. The sun is shining and the temperature is rising again. Haha. I don't mind these cooler mornings if the rest of the day is hot and sunny. And today it is supposed to be very warm indeed. Close to 19°C. Hahaha. Yippee. And as I am working from

Howdy everyone. How are we today? Did we all enjoy the longer weekend? Well those of us that had one I mean. Haha. I certainly did. I relaxed, played a couple of video games and generally didn't do too much. The weather is still warm and sunny, so I think that summer is definitely here now. Haha.

The total electric charge of the Universe is believed to be zero. Observations show that the Universe is electrically neutral on large scales. If there were a significant imbalance, we would expect to see strong electric fields affecting cosmic structures, but we don’t

If we've been bamboozled long enough, we tend to reject any evidence of the bamboozle.

We’re no longer interested in finding out the truth.

The bamboozle has captured
