This is real talk. This happens every single day and it just goes to show that even the “nicest” bosses will be profiled over people every single time

So every worker you see who is on Medicaid (think every bartender or waitstaff or cashier in a mom and pop) who you have ever had contact with will be fixed the choice: “if you what health insurance you will have to move to labor camps & work in our fields, this is your patriotic duty you lazy bum”.

They mentioned “new job requirements” the other day. As the majority of people (poor or not) whose jobs do not provide insurance for one reason or another (generally because of affordability), the option has always been state insurance. For those who work there is always a copay.

No, they said able bodied. So what they will do is take all of the people who are already working 2 or 3 jobs to make ends meet or service industry people whose jobs don’t provide healthcare and ship them off to labor camps. Also, they just raised the age for SS to 64, so there is also that pool.

I’ve been a bartender now for over 25 years and I have never had insurance through my work. Nearly every service industry person you ever meet is on Medicaid. Not because we don’t work our asses off but because our places of employment do not provide insurance for us.

I am assuming in labor camps built specifically for such a time as this.

Correct. Medicaid, other than being for those on disability are for the working poor, the elderly and children.
