I saw Zootopia 2 today. While there was one plot twist that hampered my enjoyment a little, I still thought it was phenomenal sequel to one of my favourite movies. Furiffic (for the most part)!

I got to witness High Dependency Unit live at the Meow Nui in Wellington. Was great to experience more local post-rock, especially from a well-established band like HDU. 🇳🇿

The opening act of Zambian band Witch was a nice surprise too; a interesting introduction to Zamrock for me. 🇿🇲

I'd like to apologise for the drama I initiated on @otterlynoah.bsky.social. Us two are on good terms again, and I want to ensure this does not happen again.
Hey guys. I’d like to clear up the drama I’ve apparently caused between me and OtterlyNoah. I made a public call-out towards Noah for on Bluesky for his Letterboxd post criticising Toy Story 5’s animation. While I still believe his initial description was of poor taste, the way I attempted to criticise him publicly was not the right way and just added fuel to the fire. Re-posting the quote-posts of my call-out made things even worse, as this behaviour made it seem it was less like criticising him, and more so saying things behind his back, considering I didn’t tag him in the post. I initially thought this was a way to help spread the message, but this action was giving Noah a bad image, which he was unhappy with, and made me realise I was being the bad guy here. For a great guy who has, in the past, shielded me from online bullying, I unknowingly became what he was protecting me from. While my criticism was intended to be constructive, the wiser way would have been to communicate with him privately about my concern instead of being a Melvin Sneedly tattle-teller on Bluesky. I’m a firm believer that we don’t need more drama on this site, and I went against that belief. To resolve this drama, I’ve removed my Bluesky post as requested by Noah, and he agreed to re-word his Letterboxd post into something more tasteful. It was my wrongdoing for overblowing this drama publicly, and I give my sincerest apologies for badmouthing Noah in a disrespectful way. With us two on good terms once again, I’ll happily continue supporting Noah’s great YouTube videos and autism advocacy. What I went through today was a powerful lesson in dealing with one’s problematic post, and I’ll be sure not to repeat this mistake again. Thank you for understanding. - Karlamon
