Rare Friday on campus. Even rarer that there’s a comfortable indoor temperature here.
Last year (or was it the year before?) a Guardian journalist wrote about what an ugly and horrid place Sowerby Bridge is.
Well, this was my walk this morning.
And I’m not saying that everything here is brilliant - there’s a lot of work to be done - but it can be strikingly beautiful at times.

I don’t know who needs to hear this, but if you’re growing soft fruits, don’t forget to start harvesting them.

Started with the Lego this morning. Both kids really enthusiastic for about ten minutes, now I’m sat here building on my own while they fail at doing card tricks with each other. Happy Saturday.

Last night we went to Fountains By Floodlight, which was a lovely way to lean in to the darker nights. Only, towards the end, we were spotting constellations with the kids and Starlink rolled through, and I couldn’t help but feel annoyed that Musk encroached on that experience.
