Happy to share this new #literacies piece with @sarahejerasa.bsky.social comparing ways that content is suggested and circulated across platforms like TikTok and Webtoon. It was fun to think with frameworks of sponsorship and to talk about webcomics, which I love!

A pleasure to write this piece with @gemmasupernova.bsky.social to look across two virtual out-of-school writing programs.

Our #NCTE2024 from “Humor In and Across Learning Spaces”! Great conversations about integrating humor as a critical practice in learning spaces. The group weathered our technical problems with good humor 😉

Our storytelling games roundtable at #NCTE2024 was a blast! Presenters shared games to integrate, interactive narratives, suggestions for using D&D in the classroom, and three (!) custom created roleplaying games for language learning, literature interpretation, and teacher ed.

Absolutely! Our digital and multimodal texts platform is open access so feel free to check out: bit.ly/hackyourstack1

And I’ll send our QR code for roleplaying resources as well!
