Amazon created these groups and set aside time for all of this. It was part of the job. We didn’t arbitrarily create them. The company did and they encouraged participation. It was company sponsored. Employees were encouraged to participate.

Asking for time off or explaining an absence due to a surgery does need to happen at work. Arrangements need to be made to accommodate and back fill the position for the duration of the employee to recover. I had to make such arrangements. Nothing to do with gender reassignment surgery but I’m trans

Good thing I kept my cobra active. Medicaid just sent me an onboarding packet. VA is being hit as well, so my options are limited. Still, no job means that I’m not paying taxes to make rich people richer. I’m so over the idiots who lack basic critical thinking skills in this country.
