Has anyone seen this film by Philip Groning (2005)? Sounds wonderful, just read a great post on it.

It's a wonderful title for this book! It's one of the reasons I joined the reading group. And the cover photo of my edition is perfect. We are all outlines to be filled in - or not.

I agree, it stopped me in my tracks too - and then with all the jangling angles and images - a Cubist artist. Feels like the inside of Faye's mind.

Luke Jerram's Helios at the National Trust property, Ickworth. Named after the sun god in ancient Greek mythology, this seven-metre spherical sculpture of the sun combines light, solar imagery and sounds recorded by NASA to bring the sun's intricate details to a new light.

Visit to the gardens of Ascott House in Buckinghamshire - wonderful magnolia grove and lots of spring flowers. I've never seen so many daffodils in one place before.

We went to the Vanessa Bell exhibition at the Milton Keynes Gallery. Despite an unpromising approach with the air stinking of deep-fried fast food, once inside it was wonderful. Some of the Hogarth Press dust jackets. #WoolfPack

Continuing my slow read of Alison Uttley. 'The stuff of dreams' which is a detailed account of many dreams. 'The Soul' is captivating - the small chatty Soul (someone else's) proves a troublesome passenger on a journey! I love the final image of the precious Idea or Soul cradled in the hand.
