Get hyped.

The AI Exhibit at the Exploratorium opens this Thursday!

We're almost there!

Had a great time at the TCA seminar at my home dojo in SF! I feel so lucky to be able to learn from such a globally well known and amazing Aikidoka.

OK. One seminar down this year, two more to go (each a different martial art 😱)

Nearing the end of my trip along the Mediterranean from Barcelona through the French Riviera, around the boot of Italy, to the Balkans. Finishing up writing postcards while drinking Aperol Spritzes with my mom in Venice.

Always love sending my friends little hellos from afar 😁

Walk around SF, see silly tech billboards.

No matter how hard I try, I can't escape tech 🤣

Taking E-Girl concepts 1 and 2 and trying to make a riggable puppet.

No idea if T-Pose works for 2D rigging...I guess I'll find out the hard way!

Also lol did I actually just make myself an E-Girl V-Tuber persona? 🤣

Are you on a Mac right now?

Stop everything you're doing, open your Keyboard settings, and set Key repeat rate to "Fast" and Delay until repeat to "Short".

Enjoy feeling like you're a typing champion.

You're welcome.

Working on the e-girl aesthetic for a game character.

Which hair do we like best? Or is there a canonical e-girl hair style I should be doing not pictured here? 🤔

Also how do we feel about outfit?

Wow. Congrats on persevering and getting to where you are now. To me that's a TRUE success story.

I saw this graphic on LinkedIn once in RE: of how we think life should work and it really stuck with me. I think you would appreciate it too

I couldn't agree more!

Damn, is it a design trend right now for marketing pages to flip between multiple images quickly with scrolljacking?

I got asked to implement it and thought it was silly, but now I'm seeing it on a bunch of websites.

You happy? I drew one today with black hair 🤣

Working on it...still not the style I want but maybe I'm getting closer!

I think I'll try the 1st one again...but hopefully better. Was trying to do something more like Bruce Timm's

Also want to try some Jet Set Radio-esque work.

I do think #4 is the best of this 4-up though! I like her a lot

I also have shading and shine on the 2nd, but I actually like it better flat with no shading. It's more like GTA
February 9, 2025 at 9:38 AM
I didn't do a great job with coloring/outlining the 1st one based on my sketches

Working with a friend on a game and trying to develop the art style. Don't have solid character designs yet, but playing around. Which do you like best?

(We're leaning toward the 4th)

Receiving a Figma file with a layer list like this is my personal hell.

I'm legit always impressed with how @newgrounds.com is up-to-date with modern trends.

People think it's dead but oh hell nah it isn't!

Can now get a Newgrounds domain on Bluesky!

The view from where I sat for lunch! Love the fog bridge.

Man. Coming into work every day to this site is a lot more awe-inspiring than coming into an office every day.

That said, I did have some fun offices in my startup days. None of them included a giant lit-up moon though!

Great to visit Dark Matter in Berlin again! It's mostly the same as the last time I visited but I feel like there were a few additions, like flying embers for the bonfire.

Highly recommend a visit if you are a fan of kinetic sculpture and lighting installations!

It's official! Today was my first day as a part time exhibit developer at the Exploratorium!

I'm super excited to use my tech skills to help build engaging educational exhibits for an inspiring SF institution I loved growing up, and to learn more hands-on shop skills!
