Thank you Senator, but as others have said, it’s not enough. MAGA is playing dirty and we’re watching our country fall apart. We need a leader to call everyone together. We will stand with that person. Who’s it gonna be? You? AOC? Chris Murphy? Kamala? Obama? Pete Buttigieg?We need a dynamic leader

Private prisons have don’t have a motivation to rehabilitate inmates, they want to be full to get whatever gov’t funds they can. The US had the highest incarceration rate IN THE World.

Look that one up. There was a judge in I think it was S Carolina, sending juveniles to jail on ludicrous minor offenses. He was getting a kick back from the prison for each kid he convicted. ) ORLD for over 20 years. That’s one example and certainly not the entire depth of the problem.

Take private prisons for instance. How do they reduce costs, and make a profit? Keeping “man hours” down. Packing in as many people as possible. Feeding crap food. Making deals with judges to send as many people to their prison as possible, whether they deserve it or not.
