Current 📚: The World We Make - N. K. Jemisin
Lord of the White Hell - Ginn Hale
3.75⭐️ This has been sitting on my tbr for years now but I breezed through it in one day. I wish that the magic and fantasy elements were a little stronger but that just my preference. Otherwise it was a good m/m romance dark academia story.

Fury of the Gods - John Gwynne
5⭐️ I absolutely loved this book, even though certain characters arcs didn’t end the way I thought they would 😭 The ending made me so happy!! I’ll definitely be reading Gwynne’s other books now.

Warbreaker - Brandon Sanderson
4⭐️ While I wouldn’t say this is my favorite cosmere books, it certainly has its place in my heart. I read this for the first time as a teenager and it was interesting to revisit it as an adult. The sanderlanche at the end as always was incredible 🤩

4.5 ⭐️ A great close to the first trilogy! I thought it was a little slower paced but I didn’t mind too much because it meant I got to spend more time with Fitz 💕 I loved the ending and can’t wait to see these characters again!

3⭐️ I honestly found this to be such a slog to get through. The only reason I’ve been continuing this series is because I’ve heard so many amazing things about the third book but someone’s gonna have to convince me to keep going because ugh 😩

Secret History - Brandon Sanderson
4.5 ⭐️ I’m glad I read this straight away after the original trilogy instead of waiting. I just think it’s fun to see what Kelsier was up to during all that time! Next up in the Cosmere is Warbreaker which sadly my library doesn’t have 😞

How to Hide an Empire - Daniel Immerwahr
4.25⭐️ This is the first nonfiction book I’ve read in a long time and it exceeded my expectations in a lot of ways! It was still really hard to get through, mostly just because the information was really heavy and I need time to process it.

5⭐️ The Cosmere complete reread continues! I’ll never get over the ending. The way that the smallest details from the previous books connect back to the bigger picture just blows my mind every time. IMO this trilogy is a masterwork of fiction.

Sorcery and Small Magics - Maiga Doocy
4⭐️ This was unbelievably sweet and such a breath of fresh air after reading a bunch of dark depressing high fantasy. The character banter was funny, the tropes weren’t too heavy handed, and the ending was perfect closure for me.
